ENTERPRISE EQUIPMENT REVIEW

Sell used enterprise network equipment

Submit enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, line cards, modules and optics for buyback, ITAD or recycling review. Include management and configuration requirements alongside the hardware inventory.

Provide a hardware inventory for an independent assessment. Purchase, processing, pickup and any fees are confirmed after review.

Product families are examples only. LAeCycle independently evaluates generation, configuration, condition, quantity, location and current market demand. Brand names identify equipment and do not imply manufacturer affiliation.

Mixed enterprise servers, storage and network hardware prepared for equipment review

Equipment types we evaluate

Switching and routing

Enterprise fixed and modular switches, routers, supervisors and line cards with complete chassis details.

Security and wireless

Firewalls, wireless controllers and access points, with management enrollment and account status identified.

Modules and optics

Power supplies, interface modules, SFP and QSFP optics grouped by manufacturer and part number.

Representative manufacturers and product families

Examples include Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASR, ISR and Meraki; Arista 7000 Series; Juniper EX, QFX, MX and SRX; Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks and HPE Aruba. These are equipment identifiers, not a promise to purchase every generation or configuration.

Strong candidates for review

Current enterprise models with complete power supplies, modules and accessories may be stronger candidates. Record whether licenses or entitlements can transfer, where applicable; LAeCycle does not assume that a software entitlement follows the hardware.

What affects equipment value?

Purchase is not guaranteed. Manufacturer, model, generation, configuration, condition, quantity, location, logistics and current demand determine eligibility. Equipment without resale value may still be considered for reuse, parts recovery, ITAD or responsible recycling.

Manufacturer and model

Complete manufacturer names, model numbers and part numbers identify the equipment and its generation.

Configuration and capacity

Processors, memory, storage, modules, licenses and installed options may affect value.

Condition

Working status, service history, completeness, cosmetic condition and visible damage are considered.

Quantity and accessories

Matching quantities, rails, power supplies, modules, trays and accessories may improve project value.

Location and logistics

Pickup access, loading, packaging, distance and scheduling affect project costs.

Current market demand

Final value depends on age, resale potential, secondary-market demand and transportation cost.

Not every asset has resale value. Equipment that does not qualify for buyback may still be eligible for reuse, parts recovery or responsible electronics recycling.

Prepare your inventory

  • List exact chassis, module and optical-transceiver part numbers and quantities.
  • Record port types, installed supervisors, power supplies and working or untested status.
  • Identify configuration data and arrange authorized credential and enrollment removal.
  • Do not put passwords, configuration exports or account tokens in the review request.

Pickup, packaging and project logistics

Confirm that equipment is released from production service before removal. Describe rack location, cabling, de-racking, labeling and packaging requirements. Power-down, disconnection and configuration work remain subject to confirmation rather than automatically included in pickup.

Data handling and project records

Switches, routers, firewalls and controllers can retain credentials and configuration data even when no removable hard drive is obvious. Agree on the sanitization method and required records before transfer. Customer-controlled management enrollment and account associations should be released through authorized procedures.

Identify storage media and configuration data before transfer. NIST SP 800-88–aligned sanitization and physical destruction by punching or crushing are separately scoped services; standard recycling or a purchase review does not automatically include them. Agree on media retention, chain of custody and any fees before collection.

Serialized inventories, Certificates of Data Destruction, environmental reports and Client Portal documentation are available when included in the confirmed service scope. Tell us which records your organization requires so the processing and reporting plan can be agreed in advance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What information should I include with my network equipment inventory?

Submit enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, line cards, modules and optics for buyback, ITAD or recycling review. Include management and configuration requirements alongside the hardware inventory. List exact chassis, module and optical-transceiver part numbers and quantities. Include quantity, condition and location so the equipment can be reviewed alongside packaging, data and transport requirements.

How does LAeCycle evaluate this equipment for buyback?

Current enterprise models with complete power supplies, modules and accessories may be stronger candidates. Record whether licenses or entitlements can transfer, where applicable; LAeCycle does not assume that a software entitlement follows the hardware. Purchase is not guaranteed. Manufacturer, model, generation, configuration, condition, quantity, location, logistics and current demand determine eligibility. Equipment without resale value may still be considered for reuse, parts recovery, ITAD or responsible recycling.

Can pickup be arranged for this equipment?

Confirm that equipment is released from production service before removal. Describe rack location, cabling, de-racking, labeling and packaging requirements. Power-down, disconnection and configuration work remain subject to confirmation rather than automatically included in pickup.

Can data destruction and documentation be included?

Switches, routers, firewalls and controllers can retain credentials and configuration data even when no removable hard drive is obvious. Agree on the sanitization method and required records before transfer. Customer-controlled management enrollment and account associations should be released through authorized procedures. Serialized inventories, Certificates of Data Destruction, environmental reports and Client Portal documentation are available when included in the confirmed service scope. Tell us which records your organization requires so the processing and reporting plan can be agreed in advance.

What happens if some equipment has no resale value?

The review can separate reusable equipment from items better suited to parts recovery or responsible recycling. Acceptance, processing fees and logistics are confirmed before transfer. If storage media is present, its handling must be specified separately even when the surrounding hardware has no resale value.
